At Baines Dental Wellness, we want you to feel comfortable and confident that you’re safe in our care. Over the years, we have implemented extensive infection control measures that protect you from viruses, bacteria, and other microbes. This assures your safety in a clean comfortable environment.
Before you visit our dental office in Springfield, we’ll give you a call and conduct a health screening by asking you some questions. We do this to gauge how you’re feeling and any possible exposure or risk factors for COVID-19. When you arrive for your appointment, we kindly ask that you wait in your car. We will call you when we’re ready for you to enter the building. In the office foyer, a friendly team member will take your temperature and repeat the health screening you had over the phone. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or have questions, please let us know so we can help.
Before the COVID-19 outbreak, our Springfield office was already extremely safe, relying on very stringent procedures for infection control protocol. We have a medical-grade air purification system in every room. You’ll notice that we’ve staggered appointment times, creating a longer period in between each patient. This allows us to completely disinfect and clean the office before you arrive. Every room is sprayed with hospital-grade disinfectant. All tools are sterilized using extremely high heat in our autoclave. We’ve also added barriers around the office for increased protection from aerosols. And as a bonus, all of our operatories are individual rooms with doors to keep your appointments much more private.
